Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 11 August 2026

This website is operated by the business trading as Meadow and Moor Farm to Fork. Our registered company details and postal address are available on request by emailing contact@meadowandmoor.co.uk.

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use meadowandmoor.co.uk or buy from us. By placing an order or creating an account you accept them. Please read them and keep a copy.

2. Prices and VAT

Prices include VAT where VAT applies. Most food is zero rated for VAT. Delivery is charged separately and is shown before you pay.

We may change prices, but never after you have placed an order.

3. Placing an order

Adding something to your basket is not an order. Your order is accepted when we confirm it. If something is out of stock, or we have made a pricing mistake, we will contact you before going ahead and you can cancel.

4. Payment

We take card payments through Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

5. Delivery

We deliver to England, Scotland and Wales only. We do not deliver to Northern Ireland, the offshore islands, or PO boxes. Delivery is free on orders over £75; below that a charge applies and is shown at checkout.

Orders are sent chilled in insulated packaging on a named day. Please make sure someone can take the delivery, or leave safe-place instructions. We cannot be responsible for a parcel spoiling because it was left out after a successful delivery.

6. Fresh food and your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, the usual 14-day right to change your mind does not apply to fresh food and other goods that can deteriorate quickly. That is the case for our meat.

This does not affect your legal rights if something arrives faulty, damaged, spoiled or not as described. Please take a photo and contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we will replace it or refund you.

7. Animal shares and deposits

A share of an animal is bought by paying a deposit now, with the balance settled on delivery or collection once the carcass has been butchered and weighed. Estimated values and weights are estimates, and the final balance depends on actual cut weights.

Deposits are refundable within 10 days of the order being made. After that the animal has been committed to you and the deposit is non-refundable.

8. Subscriptions

If you choose a subscription, it repeats at the frequency you pick and you save 10%. You can pause or stop it at any time before the next dispatch by emailing us.

Product images

Product photographs are illustrative. They do not necessarily show the exact cut, weight or packaging you will receive. Every order is packed to the weights stated in the product description.

Our liability

We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by us breaking this contract. We are not liable for business losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
